Hi,
I have the same question/issue as Crystal https://blue-coder.com/help/support/jfilters/115:removing-all-filters-shows-no-results and wonder how I can display all the items after a user reset the filters.

Hi Daniel
As explained to Crystal this feature does not exist atm.
And i am not sure if it is feasible to be implemented as it may render the results page very slow.
What i suggested is to use the page's context intact and not give the user the ability to clear that.
The context can be defined for example by the category or by a search term.
Some tips about your site (https://templatejoomla.com):
1. All the filters seem to be root filters.
This does not allow them to get combined. For example you cannot select both a category and a framework.
This seems a bit distrurbing in terms of user experience from my point of view.
If i were you, i put the "Category" filter 1st and set as root and the rest filters to be not root.
From my point of view, the user experience starts with selecting the appropriate category for the project.
Though you can use "Pricing" or another filter that you consider the most important as root.
2. Seems like a good point to have a multi-select functionality (e.g. checkboxes) for some filters (e.g. Creator)?

Hi my friend :)
Thanks for your reply.
I've removed the "clear" option this week-end and yes, it's much better than the message displayed. I've tried different setting and this one is the closest to my needs for Templatejoomla.com
Thanks so much for the advice about removing the root option (to be very honest, I've missed this as I thought it was "root" as primary filter or similar). Now, the users can have multiples filtering option, which is perfect!!
Your extension is simply brilliant and I'm proud to be one of your happy supporters :)

Hi Daniel
Thanks for your nice words!
There is some room for improvement in your case:
1.
I've removed the "clear" option this week-end and yes, it's much better than the message displayed.
Though this creates a problem in the user experience.
For example how can somebody clear the selected "Creator" to show the templates from all creators, keeping the rest of the filters only?
If you intent to remove the "clear" option, please do that only for your root filter.
Btw. I already got comments in social media on that.
2. For long lists like your "Framwork" and "Creator" you can use the list search feature
Additionally you can enable AJAX in the module, to provide an "app like" feeling.

You are welcome!
Already looks way better!
