The errors were numerous and complex. Several tables in the Finder and in jfilters components were even corrupted. The source of the initial corruption predated the installation of jfilters, but jfilters exacerbated the situation.
Furthermore, the jfilters
uninstallation left behind files (particularly in plugins and administration) and entries in Finder tables. I spent 35 hours manually reorganizing and ensuring consistency in the tables—a very arduous task because the causes were interconnected. It was also necessary to reinstall the Finder core files. It's working now.
I no longer plan to install jFinders without guarantees of stability with Joomla 6.1.1 or later and that the uninstallation process is performed correctly. For jFinders to be more robust, it should perform stricter consistency checks, both internally and with Finder, especially in the database. This could be a database verification option, as Akeeba offers.
I await your response in due course before reusing JFilters.
