Hello Sakis,
I noticed when linking the dynamic fields in the Yootheme layout, in a grid element, I miss the option to link the dynamic field with the System-events > "After-display-title" or "Before display content". (See attached image)
The option are available in Yootheme layouts with other pages, for example blog category page.
These fields are extremly handy for showing more custom fields in one spot (For example the Content field).
The number of dynamic fields is limited in the grid layout.
Is this a bug or not a feature yet? I hope it will be possible soon.
Thanks ahead.
Kind regards,
Mark

YOOtheme Pro Integration - missing dynamic field option

Hi
I confirm that there is no such dynamic source.
Though, can you explain what it does?
I created a grid with "Custom Articles" as "Dynamic Content" and then selected "After Display Title" as dynamic source in the "Title" field , but displays nothing.

Hi Sakis,
You need to create a extra content field and then add content in that field first.
In Joomla under: Content > Fields. When you create a (custom) fields you have the display option in tab Options.
The content of the fields can be automatically displayed in certain areas of your article (same like meta data). This is Joomla core behaviour.
Dsiplay options are:
- after title
- before content
- after content
In Yootheme you can use these fields as a dynamic source. But Yootheme has a limited number of content fields in the Grid Element to link content to.
With the dynamic source: System-events > "After-display-title" or "Before display content", it creates an option to show more content fields in one area.
For example:
4 content fields > show in 'After Title' > this is used as dynamic source in Yootheme Grid
I hope this helps
Kind regards,
Mark
I see.
This will not work in our case.
It is based on content plugins that are being executed at certain points before rendering.
The JFilters results as well as the Smart Search results (unlike com_content) do not trigger such plugins.
I can look at that for the future, though.
