Hello,

we use JFilter for a small job portal. Today we deactivated a job (filter: company tcw, state Baden-Württemberg, region Achern) and it worked fine.
Then we added another job, coincidentally with the same filter data (filter: company tcw, state Baden-Württemberg, region Achern) - the region Achern, for example, is displayed in the filter field, unfortunately the resultpage show is that no results were found.

I have used the Synchronize function and deleted the Joomla cache as well as the browswerchace, unfortunately this does not lead to the desired result either.

What am I doing wrong?

I need urgent help. Thanks

Hi

If you have assigned the custom fields properly (i.e. region, Unternehmen, etc) to your article, then the most probable cause is that your article is not indexed.

Check if your finder plugins are enabled (screenshot).
If not, please enable them, go to the Smart Search and press the Index button.

Hello Sakis,
the settings and the assignments were correct, all plugins activated - as written, I already checked this yesterday, because I already found this note - about similar problems - here in the support area yesterday and of course also checked it myself, including reindexing etc etc..

Unfortunately, none of this worked.

I have now duplicated the post and thrown away the post from yesterday - this has now worked.

If this remains a one-off exception, I can live with it, but if this has to be done for every future addition/amendment, it's obviously not acceptable.

Probably your article was not indexed. This can be caused by many things. E.g. A server crash.

I suppose that it will not happen again. But keep it in mind to investigate further if it happens again.

Btw. You can always re-index your content from the Smart Search component to be sure that the indexing was applied to all articles.
