Hi,
I have a Joomla 5.2.5 site,
When I try to install JFilter I get an error - see attachment-
JInstaller: :Install: SQL-Error Failed to open the referenced table '8xxx0_fields'
Otherwise the website works fine.
it seems it is only the problem with the plg_content_jfilters.zip
I can install all single plugins from the package (I tried to debug, where it comes from).
Any ideas?

The 2 columns which are being referenced are:
#__jfilters_fields_subform_values.field_id REFERENCES #__fields.id

Hi,
I still could not solve it. I updated to Joomla 5.2.6 and now I get the error when I install the Plugin "plg_content_jfilters.zip"
JInstaller: :Install: SQL-Fehler Can't create table `d03bcfe8`.`8fhg0_jfilters_fields_subform_values` (errno: 150 "Foreign key constraint is incorrectly formed")
I checked the references and primary keys but could not find any problems.

I think that for some reason it cannot add a foreign key to your table #__fields.
I am not able to know if this happens due to the configuration of your database or your table's structure.
What happens if you try to add a foreign key manually from another table to that?

I found the solution:
My database table was of type MyISAM and when I changed it to InnoDB it works.

Btw. Joomla is turned to the InnoDB engine since years.
