HI.
I try add module search + jfliter
If i use only filter and select, something is okey. Results show redirect to page JFilter Results.

But i need a search field for search Title Article.
I add module "smart search" assigns to menu jfilter results.

YTP after searching "word" redirects to smart search results... not to jfilter.

And my question is.
JFilters results must be a copy template to Smart Search too?

What if i require two layout?
1. Search + jfilter more advanced for search catalog movies.
2. Search + jfilter more advanced for search people.

Hi

You can create 2 (or more) menu items for the JFilters results and use each one of them for 2 jfilters modules.

Moreover, in YTP you can design distinct JFilters layouts using the "Limit By Menu Item" setting.

If you are asking on how to do something similar for the Smart Search pages, i do not have an answer.
You have to address that to the YTP guys.
But how can you limit SS to only search specific content (by setting a filter)?

I know i can make several layout Jfilters result.
But if add a module for searching like in your demo page. Results is redirect to smart page results does not remain in the view and filters.

In demo on Jfilters if you search Ambulance in seeking filed, you will be redirected to this same page.

In YTP you will be redirected to smart search result page. If i use jfilter + smart search i will be able to stay in Jfilter page results for more searching. If i wrong pleas correct me.

Add two screens.

ps.

Hi

Searching using the Smart Search always leads to the Smart Search page and filtering using the JFilters filters always leads to the JFilters page. You can check it from the url.

You may have the impression that it is the same page, because those 2 pages have identical design.
Actually both pages use the same layouts.

Though if you are designing the pages with YTP, this is no longer the case.
You will have to design those pages to look identical, to achieve that.

Before I bought, I kept thinking that your solution also has a "regular dedicated search" engine that only uses the data internally for searching.

You should think about this in a future version. Then the user stays on one page :)

Then we have a comprehensive solution.

They must NOT be identical. It is just a suggestion for having a unified user experience.
It is something that that should be decided by the project leader/manager based on the project and implementation.

Moreover, i think that it is easy to understand that SS and JFilters are 2 disctinct components and as such each one uses it's own pages, as happens with any Joomla component.

We may release our own version of a Smart Search module in the future, that uses the JF results page.
