I'm trying to use JFilters with YOOtheme and Tassos ACF. I'm facing the same challenge as here with the custom field not returning the label, but the stored ID from the database:
Any news or progress with the integration?
You mentioned it could be solved in a template override of the module. Are you talking about JFilters module / tmpl / default.php ?
I did looked through the code in that file, but it's not not clear how any override there could be a temp fix.

Thanks for bringing this back to the surface.
With the release of J5 and various other requests, it went a bit back.
Yes it can be solved with a template override which i think is the best way if you need that now.
The module's default.php is the entry point that prints some common elements (e.g. filter header).
If you want to change the actualy filter output you have to override one of the sublayouts.
Each display type has it's own layout, starting with an underscore (e.g. for the checkboxes, check the _checkboxes.php file).
Actually what you have to do is to create a php array for the countries, having the format ['country_code' => 'country_name',....] and use this to print the actualy label.
I suppose that you have some familiarity with php and the Joomla template overrides. Otherwise you can ask me to do it with an extra cost (will be fair enough).

Would you consider doing the integration with Tassos' ACF so that the custom fields would work with JFilters? I have a client who could benefit from this, so I'm talking sponsored work, not something you should do for free. If the price is right, I think my client would be willing to pay for this.
And just to be clear: I'm not talking a simple template override with a countries "mapping" of the id's, but having the fields work like the default Joomla custom fields.
I tried to add some code (quick and dirty) in the Field.php model in /administrator/components/com_jfilters/src/Model/Filter/Option/Field.php

I don't belive this to be the right MVC way, but it worked for the ACF field type 'articles'.
