How do you get the range slider to work?

I’ve looked at the alcohol field which which is set to type (text) typical values include decimal places.

I’ve set the filter value to integer (not sure if it needs to be float).

On the filtering params I’ve set view in filter to range and layout to range / rangenouislider

In JFilters there doesn’t appear to be anything to edit.

I’ve tried to synchronise but nothing changes in the front end.

What am I doing wrong

I figured it out, Ive had to create a brand new field as an integer and create duplicate entries.
Since the alcohol is to a decimal place and the interger field doesnt appear to support decimals.
Ive set the duplicate field to not show in the article but to only appear in the JFilter.

Im repeating this process for the Whisky Age also, since there are also entries with text (NAS - Whiskies with no specified age).
Im setting the NAS to 0 Age.

Seems to work, I now have to edit over 700 records to use this cool feature.
