In the component there are settings to hide/shoe the clear button ans the counter. These settings have no effect. Could you please move them to the module settings to these setting can be set on a individual module basis?

It works fine in all my tests.
Please check your filtering module's overwritten layouts. They possibly do not get these params into account.
Please have a look at the original layouts, to get a clue on how to use them.
Could you please move them to the module settings to these setting can be set on a individual module basis?
I do not find any reason to do that. By having them in the filter level, provides big flexibility.
