Hi Sakis,

Finally I am about to use JFilters on a real website :)

I had tested it on a fresh website one month ago and it worked fine.

Today I installed JFilters (and configured) on the real site, but I keep having

"Your 'Article' indexes must be re-indexed"

I don't know if it is a side-effect of the new 1.5.6, or if it has something to do with the real content of that real website.

Any clue?

Try to clear you indexes in the Smart Search and re-run the indexer from there.

BTW, another little thing: when I installed JFilters it created 2 "root" Category, one with alias category and another one with alias category-2. (both with the "Listening" icon). Can I safely delete the second ?

Your site is possibly multi-lingual. Check the language field besides each filter.

Site is not multilingual :

- only 1 content language enabled

- although in the past the necessary steps were taken to make it possibly multilingual

I don't see what you mean with "Check the language field besides each filter.": there is no Language column.

But anyways, whatever the cause, it's not that important... as long as you confirm that I can just delete it and that we have not discovered a "side-effect" or "bug" :)

You can delete any filter. It will not create any anomaly.
