Hi Sakis,

I discover by "chance" today that on several websites using JFilters, when I filter I get a 500 error message "Impossible de charger le routeur : site" (my own translation : "Impossible to load router: site").

See the Call Stack hereafter.

You can see the issue for example on

- https://www.cass-cssa.be/fr/repertoire-cass/repertoire (as soon as you filter)

- https://www.scam.be/fr/actualites (as soon as you filter)

PHP version is  8.1.18 (if useful to know).

What could be the issue ?

(of course I can give the credentials if needed)

Just in case, try to apply the change mentioned in that ticket.

I tried that fix by adding one line in the file you mentioned, but that does not solve the issue (even after cleaning cache, just in case).

Let me give you the credentials so that you can test further by yourself.
(it does not seem that I can switch this ticket from public to private. Let me create a new *private* ticket then)

The error is caused by the fact that it cannot load the php class JRouterSite

It is really peculiar, since this is a fundamendal class for the Joomla application.

Try the following. Open the file : components/com_jfilters/src/View/Results/HtmlView.php

Replace the line 83

$app->getRouter('site')->setVar('tmpl', null); 

try {
    $app->getRouter('site')->setVar('tmpl', null);
}
catch (\Exception $exception) {
    //suck it
}

That solves indeed the issue :)

Something is weird : I have a few websites where JFilters was working normally... and a few other websites where this issue would occur. And for those sites with the issue, I am sure that in the past it was working normally.

But whatever. This means that you can push this fix in your next version of JFilters, right ?

PS : oh, nothing to do with this but btw I just discover a detail now: in Dark Mode the footer of /administrator/index.php?option=com_jfilters is "invisible" bc the text is white over white background

Yes of course the fix will be included in the next release.

Btw. The upcoming major release will include the 'Sorting Rules' feature.
This will allow you to sort the results by all the filters and several other fields, which can also be applied conditionally.

I will check the issue with the dark mode.
