I'm really enjoying using JFilter Pro. I've integrated it with an event directory built with joomla articles and custom fields. But there's a feature I'm missing: being able to sort by custom field.
I'm using this plugin by Nicholas from Akeeba:

With it I'm able to sort my blog category views by a custom date field (event start date), and I'd like to be able to do the same with search results from JFilters. I think Nicholas' approach is really good, using a plugin to "alter" the query returned by com_content to get it sorted by a selected custom field. Maybe something similar could be done with JFilters? Or maybe there's already something out there I've failed to find that already does that? Thanks in advance!
