On one website on which I had not worked for some time, I realize that I have 2 issues (probably linked?) :

- when opening JFilters in the backend I get "Your 'Article' indexes must be re-indexed". Always, even right after having reindexed

- and in the front-end, when I filter (via the classical Module or via a new Menu Item of Type JFilters when you can filter on anything) then I always get "0 result"

How comes ?

This morning it was still working but since then I deleted a few Custom Fields and Synchronized JFilters, so that is maybe where the issue occured (or not).

The reason: You disabled the "Type" taxonomy from the "Smart Search - Content" plugin.

Our indexer uses that to recognize the type of the content, in order to index it or not.

You can just unpublish that taxonomy from the SS > Contenet Maps page, if you want it not to be displayed.

Yes that is only affects the indexing. I.e. Newly added content or when re-indexing your whole site.

I am also noticing that you are using YOOtheme and something called "Composed Source" (screenshot).

Because i was asked many times on how to display a group of custom fields and staff like that in YT, can you elaborate on what this is and how to use it?

Sure, I am happy to tell you more about those "Composable sources" or "Composed sources".

Actually it is a feature that ships with Essentials by Zoolanders. It was released ~6 months ago :

It is really great because of course YOOtheme is already very powerful, but if you take the Grid element for example, you have typically "only" a few fields available:

- title
- meta
- content
- image
- read more

And sometimes (like on my website) you need more fields because you would like to have

- "First Name + Name" as "Title"
- or plenty of Custom Fields as "Content"

So Essentials by Zoolanders allows exactly that :)

Note1: another way to get as many fields as you like (with the layout that you like), which is then native with YOOtheme since last year, is Repeatable Column or Repeatable Sections. I thinks Elisa show it here (with a Dynamic Section for each animal): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gPrJvyAjhR8

Note2 : still another way to have more Custom Fields on a given field is to use Articles Anywhere Pro by Regular Labs, with something like {article id="ID" [year] [style] [whatever]{/article}
Actually you say that the source of your field is "ID" and then you select your prefix and postfix so that you get what I just wrote
